This movie has been one of my guilty favourites for many years, since I saw it on an imported Hong Kong DVD. It's a fun action movie with some great set pieces and a fair bit of heart. It's in equal parts derivative of the Hong Kong action genre (and what certain popular Hollywood films did with that in later years), but it can also be surprisingly original. It's not up to the level of genre classics like Hard-boiled, The Killer or City On Fire, but it's definitely a fun ride. The Blu-ray is a massive upgrade from the DVD I used to have.
