I've already got the Japanese UHD blu-ray of this title (the 1995 anime, not the live action version for those confused) as well as a variety of HD blu-ray releases and I'm a collector of GITS related media and items. However, this ZAVVI release seems really nicely achieved and I'm ordering. The graphics and style are excellent and very fitting with the GITS universe; nicely done! If this is the same transfer as the Japanese release then it's very good if a little DNR scrubbed. It blows any previous SD blu-ray release away of course. Oh, and it's Hong-Kong not Tokyo in this film; just sayin' ... ;-)

Ghost In The Shell is one of my all time favorite films so having this steel box set with cards and poster, two discs was for me. Glad I did, don't really do this steel box thing at all, have about 5, including this one. I would give it 5 stars if i came with art book, that would of been nice.

What can one say other than absolutely marvellous! What a steelbook with extra goodies to boot. The steelbook is like the good old days with an embossed artwork both front and back. The colour scheme runs perfect with the mood of the animated movie and then you get all those extras of art cards and a poster all packaged in a rigid slipcase of high quality. The movie itself is iconic in its genre and if you haven’t seen it, and you like anime/manga, then you’re missing out. An authentic collector’s piece for those that love steelbooks and these types of Japanese movies. A must buy before it disappears forever.

The quality of the steel book is fantastic, the artwork is stunning, I've always been a fan of ghost in the shell and I saw this and had to purchase it! Especially love the art cards and poster! Absolutely worth every penny?

When I found out that one of my fav anime had come out in 4K Ultra I was very excited. I then saw Zavvi posting that they were releasing a Limited Edition Steelbook so I had to get it. The artwork by Matt Ferguson is amazing and the limited Edition packs a lot of amazing artwork. A truly awesome steelbook with an amazing transfer to 4K Ultra and an embossed cover. If you are a Ghost In The Shell fan then this one is definitely for you. An iconic movie which shook the anime work on par with Akira!!

The steelbook is brilliantly made, and movie was great and thought provoking, it left me wanting more. Satisfied customer.
