I saw Spiral in the cinema and my expectations were not set very high after the pervious Saw film. I was very surprised by the acting and talent in this film as was in a state of disbelief until about half way through when it sunk in I was in for a good ride. Getting notable stars like Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Rock and Marisol Nichols certainly boosted the quality a long way. Spiral also has many nods to the first saw trilogy which a fan would pick up on. It does feel like Spiral is a return to form and they have set themselves up well for a sequel. As for Zavvi, I pre-ordered the film as soon as I could after watching it in the cinema to add to my Saw film collection. Once the film became available it arrived on time as per the usual Zavvi service I have come to expect. Would definitely recommend to any horror/gore/Saw fan.
