This has always been one of my favourite films of all time. Followed by Band of Brothers, another fantastic mini series, which I got in a steel box. So, as soon as I saw the Private Ryan steel book, I just had to have it. So I have both steel book and tin side by side. Looking good 😊

I got this for my brother as he loves the movie & it was awesome. Not just the movie but the entire steelbook. Thank you Zavvi for the awesome steelbook.

Let's start off with addressing the steelbook artwork, and I personally love it, it's so clean. And the movie is, as we all know, a masterpiece and it looks absolutely fantastic in 4k. I highly recommend this!

There's not a lot I can say about the transfer or sound as it's been out there for a while, but, it's the first time I've watched it on 4k and the Normandy beach scene... Wow the bass was shaking the floor, you could see every drop of water, blood, sweat every grain of sand... Watch it its all I can say. The steel book is very nice a matt steel book with a gloss photo. BUY IT.

Classic film, and frankly better steel than I expected. Some of the tradtional artwork, with a nice glossy picture. 4k of course which is excellent. It won't win prizes, but very worthy and glad I got it.

Love the design, and since I missed the Blu-Ray one previously I get to have that design and a 4k version of the film.

Been wanting this for a long while, and now I can get it at launch in 4K, and not for a stupidly high price like the blu-ray steelbook on eBay, so win-win for me.

Great film. However this is the same steel book as I already own. And I have it on a separate 4K release. Lazy. Check out my review and movie site on your tube. AJ The Movie Owl.
