Although the game is not really relevant anymore, the product is excellent quality and the price fantastic.
Bought a couple of these recently. I was really impressed with the price point. lets discuss what you get. In a bundle I recived the following; 1 x Champions Booster Box (Base Set) 1 x Onslaught Booster Box 1 x Savagery Booster Box 1 x Warband Pack Series #1 1 x Warband Pack Series #2 Each booster box contains 24 sealed booster packs from their respective sets. Booster packs contain 13 cards in 3 different rarity,Common, Uncommon and Rare (There is also an Exclusive rarity but, they do not come in the booster packs). Cards do come in Shiny/Foil and appear to have at least 1 in each packet and can be applied to any rarity, so Common cards can be foil. Artwork is great and if you are a fan of Games Workshops art work from their codexs and rulebooks then these cards are worth a punt. The Warband Pack Series 1 & 2 The Warband pack contains 16 warband cards, this means you get 8 cards for each of the reprisented factions on the box, if you are familiar with Games Workshops 'Warhammer: Underworlds' then these warbands will be familiar, personally I was chuffed when I saw one of them was Zarbag Gitz (I'm a green skin fan, especially Gobbos). The cards included are broken down like so; 2 x Champion cards (Foil) 2 x Unit Cards (Foil) 6 x Spell Cards (2 Foil) 6 x Ability Cards (2 Foil) A good thing is with both boxes, you will get a warband set for each of the grand alliances; Death, Destruction, Chaos and Order. Outside of the Warband cards, the box also contains 3 additional booster packs! Set #1 contains 2 Base set boosters and 1 Onslaught booster. Set #2 gets you 1 Savagery Booster and 2 Onslaught Boosters. [Positives] - Price point cannot be understated - So many packs to open and play with and is a great starting point - Nice artwork from the vaults of Games Workshop [Negatives] - No pre-constructed deck or rules, so had to source them seperately - One of the booster boxes was not sealed (Base Set/Champions) - The game has been discontinued so no new cards are very unlikely in any official capacity Overall thoughts. Combining everything you get in this bundle you get a total of 78 packs to crack open, and being that you get from 3 different sets it nice to know you won't be totally inundated with way too many duplications and giving you a varied pool of cards to choose from. The warband packs are a cool way to boost your deck with some powerful cards and featuring some of the Warbands from Warhammer: Underworlds was a big plus for me as I currently play that game too. Speaking of Playing, this is a bit of a problem with the bundle. Despite all the things you get, there is no sealed decks, and because of that there is no real starting point to learn like most TCG's do with pre-built decks to give players a feel for the game. Ofcourse you could easily build decks with the amount of cards to will be getting and finding the rules online was pretty easy too! I would totally recommend teaching some friends to play, and buying something like this to play a booster draft with for an evening. If you are buying any of these to keep sealed for whatever reason, it is worth noting that the Base Set/Champions Booster Box is no sealed (Don't worry the packs are!) and come loose in the bundle, the display box is included but is flatted down so it allows them to fit all contents into the bundle box. Despite these minor issues I think that for the price point it's totally value for money.
This is brilliant value and lots fun opening the large amounts of booster packs(still got loads left to open). It's a great bundle for anyone wanting to get into this fun card game or expand there existing collection
Exactly what I required. Nearly completed all 3 sets. We'll Worth the money.
