It's great to see this version of the classic movie to get a steelbook treatment

This is my favourite version of the King Kong story. Okay so the acting is way over the top, it's obvious that it's Rick Baker in a gorilla suit and some of the effects haven't aged well however the John Barry Score is Beautiful, the 4K transfer is glorious and the 3 hour TV version in SD is included. I made more of a connection to this Kong because of his eyes rather than Peter Jackson's dodgy CGI version so much so that I was in tears at the end. The new artwork is impressive on the steelbook, however I would have preferred the original movie poster as the free poster.

Really nice looking steelbook, had never seen this film before and I really enjoyed it the 4k restoration is really very good
