Took a punt with this one. M. Night's films can be a little Marmite. Glad I followed the more positive reviews as I really liked it. Film unfolds with intrigue supported by a great cast. Progressively builds to an ending that really does not disappoint. Interesting that the ending has been changed form the original source material but this leads to a more satisfying conclusion IMHO. Makes a change compared to some of Shyamalans other films. Only negative, no Blu Ray, only 4K disc. I suppose it save the environment a bit. Otherwise nice presentation.
The film is pretty good, but the steelbook arrived with multiple dents. I realized too late when I finally got around to opening it up and watching it, so it was past the return window.
Great looking film. Sound, extras and steelbook, all superb. I enjoyed the film so much I may read the book it's based on.
Decent film from shyamalan. Not brilliant, not rubbish. Ending could have been better and a bit more fleshed out,but worth a watch nonetheless. 4k picture and audio stunning as usual.
Really great art work on the steelbook and a fantastic 4k transfer for Knock at the cabin. The film features very good performances form all the cast, though Dave Bastista is the standout among the cast, he is easily the best wrestler turned actor.
The movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan could have been a lot better. The trailer drew me in and was about the best thing about it. The packaging and Steelbook design were both excellent.
