What an incredibly uninspired and boring steelbook for such a colourful and fun movie. The designs are getting lazier and lazier with steelbooks nowadays. A black background, really?!

The artwork for the inside is beautiful, but the outside artwork is the epitome of absolutely no effort. This needs changing because it’s blander than bland 

Wow! I honestly thought that this “artwork” was just a work-in-progress. This is their final design? Yet another steelbook release where the art is so lazy and uninspired, that it puts Disco Vader to shame. So often now, these studios put very little artistic effort into what should be a beautiful, tactile object, and expect top money for their pathetic efforts. A totally lacklustre design, unfitting for such a great movie and video game icon. Definite pass.  

I loved this movie so much when seeing it yesterday so i immediately went to find a steel book and to my surprise and disappointment this is what we got this is pure TRASH who came up with this. For such a colour full movie this is hilariously bland.

Fun film, ok steelbook. Original description said 4K and Blu Ray but it’s just one disc in 4K. Pretty disappointed 

Why can't they just keep to one design fit both steelbooks and a ray cases. I'd rather buy the 4K amray case than buy this. Didn't Zavvi used to discuss the designs before steelbooks went into production?

Are Zavvi doctoring the reviews again - a repeat of Star Wars - The Force Awakens in 2016?

Defintiely check out the film. It's art style is great with the colours really popping. The animation is great, the voice acting works well for this film overall which was a big controversial debate when actors were being revealed. Some top tier sequences reminst of popular Mario games and tons of easter eggs visually and sonically for the audience to enjoy. 8/10, Pick up the 4K over this steelbook. Sad they went with such a basic design. The art could have just been flipped utilising the inner art on the outside instead with a slipcover for the title or J-Card.

I love this Steelbook simple but effective

I've seen this movie twice and will be seeing it again next weekend. It's a brilliant family movie, it made me, my fiancée and our son want to play a Mario game so after we saw it we went to our local Smyths Toy Store and bought a Nintendo Switch Oled with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I only wish the steelbook design looked better because to be honest it just looks bland and boring with only the Super Mushroom on the case. They should have used the poster art because it's bright, colourful and more pleasing to the eye.
