My favourite sci fi /action/horror film of all time. Some reviews have criticised this 4k version. For me its a no brainier. The best picture yet and in dolby atmos. Yes some scenes and sound effects aren’t as good as you would expect from a 4k copy,but 75% of it is the best ive seen of this quality film. Shame there isn’t a steelbook version. If you love aliens this is the best version(extended as well)

Yes there's been controversy over the cleaned up look,but to me this hasn't been done excessively. Certainly nowhere near the extent of Terminator 2 or True Lies. Detail, expecially in dark areas is improved over the bluray. The bonus disc has hours of content, very happy with this release. Made me remember being back in the cinema on its release week.

I watch this film over probably a thousand times I've never seen the picture quality as sharp as vivid and beautiful as this I am absolutely over the moon so many comments saying it's not very good on 4k but my god it is outstanding It was a very grainy film I've got to be honest but this restoration is unbelievable and so worth the purchase. Dolby vision outstanding And the sound is very different to what I'm used to I've owned this film from VHS to DVD to Blu-ray now to 4k absolutely outstanding

Was eager to see this after having worked through VHS, DVD, Blu Ray and digital downloads over the years, but I have to say I couldn't see a noticeable difference between this and the blu ray. I used a ps5 and a Sony 4k TV, but unlike other films, such as Bladerunner, I wasn't that impressed. This product will still get 5 stars because it's always brilliant, even with that rubbish box art

Aliens is one of those rare films that maybe is better than the original. The 4k special edition is an epic fun film. The transfer and detail are great just a classic seen at its best in 4k
