I'm a bit of a collector on deluxe collections and steelbooks. When this popped up, I jumped at the chance to preorder. The art is beautifully detailed, the packaging is stiff board, they even give you the white Shipping box to keep it pristine in! - NEVER throw this away. The faux bag, with the gold ring is a nice touch - I actually forgot about it! The collection is displayed as a book, so when you open it, there's a detailed map on the inside cover - I've randomly checked the locations; towns, rivers and they seem to be there, no spelling mistakes that were on a certain steelbook! Tolkien Collectors will jump on this, though, maybe wait for a sale. Although, I can't tell you if this is a limited run or not! If you have the steel book of this, or any other box set and you're not sure if you should buy this - this is for someone that doesn't have the trilogy already. Or if you are a collector, you'd buy it anyway. Like me!😁

Waste of money I already have the steelbooks but I thought this would be nice due to flux leather and gold foil but it only cardboard, cheap looking
