Waterloo Road is an absolutely timeless classic film. Old, but correctly reflects the feelings and attitude of the times and, the people living through them. The three main actors, almost at the very beginning of their careers show just why they went one to be among the greats of the film industry. John Mills, Stewart Grainger and Alistair Sims, bring absolute realism to the characters they play. And, while the female lead, Joy Shelton holds her place in this fine film. Set in London in the very early years of World War II. Showing the stress, the general men, and women, in the street were undergoing, With air raids and forced absences from loved ones. Is simply not to be missed and always worth seeing again and again.
