To Catch A Thief is a well crafted classic hitch film.

I saw this film as an older child and confess I never really understood it at the time, but as a testiment to 'that special something' it had, I've never ever forgotten it. I can still recollect some scenes from that original viewing. Grace Kelly epitimised star quality, as did her leading man Cary Grant. Of course with Alfred Hitchcock as the producer this film was going to be special anyway. Two of his other films of the same era, "The 39 Steps" and "The Man Who Knew Too Much", also remain firmly in my recollection of memorable films I've seen. To sum up "To Catch A Thief", sheer quality, a real period piece and a window into great films of the 1950s. One for the fans of classic movies.
