I got so sick of uk gold being on my tv that I just decided to buy my wife the box set and she can watch them when she wanted. The truth is that Dawn French is funnier than funny in these shows and I love them too and they go on when ever we want to kill some time. Should you buy and watch them ? no no no YES !

Great set,great price. Everything to do with the Vicar is here. Yes,yes,yes,yes...no! As they say in the show. It really is all the Vicar you could want. Enjoy.

This terrific series has a lifespan as we become visitors to Dibley for just a while each episode. Scratching the surface and taking us into the lives that make up the small village of Dibley, Dawn French is just a treasure and her cohorts are true, strangely believable characters. If you moved to Dibley, it would take about seven generations to get as close to the town and its people that we get to do in each episode. The closing sequences where jokes need explaining are my favourites. Timeless. Only the Brits can do real humour and I'm from "horse trailer". Does "Dibley" lose anything in travelling this far? Not a giggle.

bit slow coming - missed the time that I wanted it for - but it is Christmas posting so I guess serves me right. Great value!

What a great set of DVD's I purchased them from Zavvi after trawling the internet and high street shops for the best price and stock. Zavvi had both, in stock and the best price. this was a pressy for my wife and she has already viewed them TWICE yes TWICE the whole lot. It really is fantastic value to have all of the series plus the extra's and what a bonus to have the Christmas specials. Fantastic value, fantastic service, fantastic series all in one box........Thank you
