THIS TV SERIES NEVER LOOSES ITS CHARACTER ITS MORE RELEVANT IN TODAYS WORLD THAN WHEN IT WAS 1ST MADE ITS ENDLESSLY WATACHABLE

A classic tv show, with the added bonus of being able to turn off the 'canned laughter' track. Many hours of nostalgic viewing.

Everyone who watched TV in the 70's remembers this. The series that had everything:- laughter, tears and weirdos. Re-watching this brought it all back, and because it is so specific it never dates. Not many american series feature so many characters, but the plots flow around each of them, always keeping your interest. If you hanker for a bit of 'the good old days' this is for you!

The collection is perfect from the pilot episode to the last. Having the added extras make this collection extra special. The humour doesn't age and the balance between that and serious moments is just right. Another additional bonus is the facility within the language options to turn 'OFF' the canned laughter, which I think makes a lot of the episodes more poignant and less irritating if you don't like forced laughter. If you like Alan Alda this is him at his best along with most of the other stars of the show.

My favourite tv programme used to watch it with my dad when I was a kid, sadly he’s passed away but I can watch it when ever I want 5⭐️

Arrived on the first day of the estimated delivery period in a robust plastic case in perfect condition. Sound and vision quality are very good for a 48 year old television show and the themes are just as relevant today.as they were in 1972. Excellent value - my box set came with 2 Special Features discs and a copy of the original 1969 movie. If you want to wallow in some feel-good TV you can't go wrong with this box set.

I forgot how enjoyable this series was. After searching online, a long process, I found that ZAVVI stocked it, plus it was at a great price. So I ordered it, the product arrived in mint condition and have started to watch from the pilot episode, onwards. Okay, it’s in 4:3 ratio, but it’s certainly better than having it stretched out to fill a widescreen display. Considering it dates from the 1970’s the image and sound are sharp. Contained in a stout cardboard box that resembles a medical container ( nice touch ) but the best thing is it’s price! If you’re watching the repeats on Sony channel on Freeview, get this Boxset while you can and enjoy.

Fast delivery and in perfect condition thanks

I received the box at my USA address 'contact'. However, the box was a rather weak corrugated box. It coulkd have been a much stonger box for more 'assured-delivery' overseas from the UK to the USA! Fortunately, it made it, 'intact'. Father James The Contents, were, however, in excellent condition. Thank God! I have one question: I wish to purchase more DVD's, but get a 'tad-bit' confused with the PAL and NTSC Ratings. While I 'understand' what the stand-for, nevertheless, on your varuious products (DVS), often times it does NOT delineate what Region the DVDs are in??? Thank You. Father James

The classic series complete and boxed in the proper DVD cases (look like the single series sets), this is NOT the edition that comes with the discs in card sleeves (there is a common gripe about the discs scratching on removal with that version). Also includes the movie! Highly recommended!
