absolutly great movie!!! best price!
Commando is a great 80´s movie in HD.
Very disappointed with this Commando bluray, this stated the uncut version but it still have parts taken out.
Classic movie
I had Commando on DVD, but had to buy the Blu-ray as the version on the DVD was the television edit. This is the uncut version with Schwarzenegger using various garden tools to dispatch his enemies. It's over the top eighties silliness. Arnold plays ex special forces commando, John Matrix, out to save his kidnapped daughter Jenny, or "Chenny" as Arnold calls her. Switch off your brain and enjoy.
Wow what a difference this movie makes on Blu Ray. Is there any other movie that has as many classic one liners as Commando? Arnie is at his best in this movie, and it is non stop action from start to finish. Its an all time classic and for this price you would be crazy not to have it in your collection.
I love Commando, I can't help it I grew up with it, so when I bought the blu-ray, I enjoyed it just as much as I used to and it is a pretty good transfer considering its 27 years old. Arnold is great in it and commando is one of his best, lots of action, tons of cheesy one liners like when he drops one of the bad guys off a cliff and when asked what he did with him he replies "I let him go!". The action is very over the top, I mean Arnold as John Matrix, literally defeats a whole army single handedly with his huge array of weapons, but it is loads of fun if you just switch off and relax. Classic Schwarzenegger!
Commando is an excellent movie from the 80s, it brought back memories from when I watched it when it first came out, a true Arnie classic...
The Blu-ray transfer whilst not brilliant in parts is acceptable. It's also the full uncut version. I mistakenly bought the dvd a couple of years ago to replace my aging VHS but was disappointed to realise that various chunks were cut. I immediately binned it. The Blu-ray is definitely worth the purchase in terms of quality and being uncut :)
