Cloverfield is a great movie if you can bear watching it. It's a found-footage style movie, which works really well mixed with the monster-movie genre. It's a personal tale of a group of people during a monster invasion of New York. Yes, it is a great film, but beware. The camera really shakes in this one. It's not like Paranormal activity, where most of the cameras were steady cams. The experience has been likened to a rollercoaster ride. If you can't handle motion sickness, do not watch this movie. Also, watch it with the lights on - that helps a little. But if you can handle it, it will be a great ride, I promise. Picture and sound quality are great, considering the style. There's a satisfactory number of extras.

Blair witch inspired Cloverfield is a cinematic experiment that has paid off director Matt Reeves says this is a film for the Youtube generation, not being a fan of the hand held I think ill throw up if I watch any more of this Blair witch I was sceptical about this, but being produced by JJ Abrams of LOST, ALIAS and MI3 fame I thought Id ride it out and im glad I did. Cloverfield is a original and well crafted film that will definitely revive the monster movie.
