The Godfather is very old now, as we all know, and there is only so much remastering can do to clean it up. Not to mention that Coppola shot the film with a grainy, atmospheric and vintage look, and deliberately used sepia-like colour toning, which imediately washes out some of the colours, on top of that. But, taking all of that into account, the film still looks great! The sound has also been remastered, and compared to my old DVD box set, it's far far better on Blu Ray. The extras are, just like the films, absolutely epic. There's commentaries and documentaries here in abundance. I highly recommend it to any fans of the original films.

Wow...What an image on the Blu-Rays. I really enjoyed to view this movie again with this fantastic restoration.

The Godfather collection is probably one of the most definitive collections you will need to see and a must have. I was a bit apprehensive ordering the boxset on blu-ray as I own the DVD set. I've heard a lot of people complaining and mentioning that there was no real difference in quality of picture and sound etc. IGNORE THESE COMMENTS. The remastered version on blu-ray gives brilliant sound and picture quality. The set includes all three films with a bonus extra disc with the special features. Each film is in a separate casing which is a added bonus. The price on Zavvi for the boxset was also cheap £14.99 which was a bargain considering it was the entire trilogy and I was willing to pay £30 for it. Zavvi delivered it on time as requested and in prestige new condition as stated. Service was completely faultless. All in all an Amazing product, Amazing service and a very very happy customer

So far, only watched the first film of the trilogy but excellent picture and sound restoration for what was a 1972 film. Looking forward to the other two films.

Recently watched these old films again - this is a terrific dvd. They get better with age.

Two true classics with amazing extras.try to forget about part 3 tho

Haven't seen Grand Theft Auto IV (4): The Complete Edition as its a present but ordered from Zavvi and the delivery was very quick and the process was very simple. Decent prices.
