Best controller for gaming

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have played many consoles and this is the only controller so far that did not make my thumb feel like I beat on it with a hammer after playing for some time. But let's do this step by step. After unpacking the controller I was a bit sceptical. It looks strange compared to other controllers but after a few minutes playing around in the Xbox menu I got used to it and just another few minutes later I didn't even want to lay it down again. The buttons are easy to reach and have a good stroke. The thumb-stick to the left is just as easy to use as the right one as well as the directional pad. There are another 4 buttons at the back of the controller so you have plenty of them to mash on. The thumb-sticks have different levels of thrust depending on how much you push them aside. Much more can't be said about the controller from a technical point of view. As from a gaming perspective, I really could not imagine playing shooters on a console but with this controller I got used to it so quickly. There is a default profile for shooters which is really good but usually you can set it up for yourself for each game. So this is great plus for the Xbox and the controller. The controller itself runs rather long with a pack of batteries but I would recommend buying the charge kit along with it. Just for the environmental protection and to save yourself the money. It will pay off just after the third of fourth pack of batteries which is surely not a lot. The controller itself is really great, I would always buy it again.

Great value

I decided to get a second controller and decided to stick with the official wireless controller as I had no complaints with the original one. Decided to get a black one so that I could tell the pads apart. It was nice to see that the controller comes with a set of batteries so it was ready to be used right away and I'm pretty pleased with it. Most impressive was the exceptional delivery time; I ordered it on the 27th and it had arrived by the 30th which considering it was Christmas was far quicker than i had expected.
