The Wire - Complete is a finely produced piece of TV drama. It's highly recommended.

I'm taking to hitting my head on the wall, to erase this from my memory, so I can watch it all again, and re-live the pleasure that was discovering this TV series for the first time. It 's a landmark show, and I hope it gets released on Blu-Ray someday, so I have an excuse to do it all again!

Have been a fan for years....Quite simply the greatest TV show ever made....and the DVD extras really add to it.

A wonderful watch. Each season delves into the social-political dirt of a different part of Baltimore. Full of remarkable and memorable characters. It is a slow burner, taking a couple of episodes to fully develop but the powerful depiction of all aspects of life in Baltimore City soon becomes compelling and impossible to stop watching. It is like a great novel, full of adult depictions of real life, without the clichés that are constant in modern TV dramas. A must watch and a future classic.

Say good bye to your life for the foreseeable future ! I was bought this as a gift and having never seen it was a bit daunted by how much time it would take up to watch. No fear though as soon as I watched the first disk I was hooked and found myself making up excuses just to watch it. Sleep ? who needs sleep watch the wire, it draws you in with out you realising and before you know it your hooked.The stories are slow burners keeping you wanting more of the raw gritty drama,
