While animation movies have always banked on huge movie stars to market their movies, Ice Age stands out as the exception. Yes, the actors in Ice Age are famous in their own right, but they are no Tom Hanks. Animation has always focused on the fantasy or the future, but I think this is the first one to go to the past and does an excellent job in bringing the times of the Ice Age to screen. All in all, a must watch.
