Play starts right away as kids bring their character to life within their video, using the app. Download the app to scan the music minifigure and reveal the characters cool stage persona. Mer-Made for fun
This was a fun toy which was easy to use and gave lots of entertainment. The app was quick to download and really easy to use. The Candy Mermaid Beatbox kit was bigger than I expected and had plenty to keep you entertained for a long time.

Hours of musical fun
The Candy Mermaid Beatbox looks a little complicated when you first have a look at it. But, after reading the instructions and giving it a go, my child thoroughly enjoyed it. If your child enjoys music, then this Beatbox can provide hours of fun, with new beats that are downloadable from the Vidiyo app. Simple and easy to use, I would recommend this product.

Fun, entertaining & definitely enjoyable
Really good product. Exciting for the kids from the opening of the box onwards. So fun and easy to build. Easy and straightforward to use too. Brings lots of fun and entertainment. Great how it works. Also love how it comes to life on the phone. My niece loved it.

App needs improvement
This is a great idea if it was open to all types of phones , my daughter has a cubot and the app wasn't compatible which was quite disappointing. She throughly enjoyed building the lego but was just frustrated at not being able to use it on her own device.

Fun and interactive
This was fun to use and a great interactive toy. Whilst this does have an element of technology with the needing to use an app it still doesn’t take away the fun of building and rebuilding the lego model. Extremely reasonably priced will buy more

Fun for all
Enjoyed building the character and experimenting with the different beatbit tiles. To see the Lego character come to life was fun and finding different backgrounds in the house to put in the video too. There’s a nice social aspect on the app too, seeing what others have come up with gave us some great ideas.

A fantastic mix
This is the perfect mix of technology and real life hands on fun. You build your character and their surrounding case and then the real fun begins! Up to date music and a huge variety of magical effects means this won’t grow old for a long time! Plus the ability to level up and earn rewards will keep kids coming back for more! I got this toy complimentary from the home tester club.

Lego for digital age
Lego and digital together, whats not to like. Well it doesn't quite hit the mark as far as my 9 yo daughter is concerned. She liked the concept, enjoyed building the Lego box and paying with the bricks. The mermaids cool and the box is well detailed. However the digital interactions not enough to impress her. In the days of tik tok etc , it seems this attempt by Lego doesn't hit the mark.

look I'm a mermaid
My niece loved it and dragged it out the box to swim into the garden and doesn't seem interested in the ar but she will as soon as she realises haha. will update review then. she thinks its such a beautiful mermaid
