Play starts right away as kids bring their character to life within their video, using the app. Download the app to scan the music minifigure and reveal the characters cool stage persona. The LEGO VIDIYO app is compatible with selected iOS and Android devices. Hours of entertainment guaranteed
I was surprised by how good this was considering the price. I genuinely wasn't expecting much as Lego products tend to be quite pricey so with how low cost this one was I thought it might be a bit basic. It was gifted to a friend's child and it had kept him suitably entertained for hours! There's a good selection of music so it doesn't get boring too quickly. A really good concept and one that has potential for lots of different versions.

Lego party Llama
My daughter loved making videos. She was hooked on them, flies to her phone for ages, she loves the Lego brand. The price is really good value , there is a great variety of songs and great options to customise, the graphics are great. One of the downsides was it look a little time to download sometimes but this could have just been down to the wifi.

Lego Llama VIDIYO
My daughter has enjoyed making videos with this product, she loves watching them back, especially when she has done them with friends. I like that you can add band mates as you keep using the product. Disadvantages....well I lost my phone for ages which is a pain. It would be nice to have had a good user guide for parents to make the most of the app. You need to keep the ‘band mate’ handy, as you need to use it for each video when you log in. One other downside is the limited song choice, although there are some well known artists on there. Good price point for a Lego product. My daughter has really enjoyed playing with the app, and it has given us some bonding time and having some fun together.

Party Llama
Party llama was a good combination of classic Lego and interactive technology. The customisation options allowed fun options to create many different music videos. The main downside is the app required large data downloads to work, so this is something that would need to be factored in for anyone purchasing the party llama. I would also like to see all packaging recyclable - no need for all the extra plastic. All in all kids will love this and it’ll keep them entertain for a good while!

Lego Vidiyo party Llama
When the box arrived we were very excited to get going. As usual for Lego brand instructions were easy to follow and quick to build. Was good to use scan on front of box to check if our devices would work ( didn’t work on our iPads)before you start downloading the app. The app it’s self did work but took a while to load each section, so if I left my 7 year old to do it himself he would have given up as he kept saying it wasn’t working and started it all over again. Once he was able to make a video he had a brilliant time dancing along to the variety of songs on offer and loved being able to change effects that happened on the screen. He was very proud of his end videos, thus wanting to make loads more!
