Play starts right away as kids bring their character to life within their video, using the app. Download the app to scan the music minifigure and reveal the characters cool stage persona. Then scan the BeatBits to unlock special effects, challenges and more as kids discover the hidden side of music and produce their own unique music video, to share with other creators in the kid-safe social feed.
The LEGO VIDIYO app is compatible with selected iOS and Android devices. My nephews loved this! They love music and Lego so something that combines them both is a winner. Good value for money too.

Great for younger children
My children were very excited to try this out and were eager to open the box. It was easy to download the app although did take longer than usual and uses a lot of storage. The children enjoyed building their Unicorn DJ beat box and loved how it was projected. They enjoyed creating and sharing the music videos. They played with it for about an hour and then my older daughter 12 said it was boring and she hasn’t picked it up since. My 8 year old still Plays with it now.

Great for kids & adults alike
Excellent quality toy with easy to follow instructions and child (and adult) friendly app. My daughter loved playing with her DJ unicorn beatbox and so did I. We had fun and spent quality time together using our imaginations and letting our creative side out. I would definitely recommend this to any parent to purchase. Don't forget it needs an app downloaded onto a device though.

Love it Lego!!
Immediately my daughter was excited to try this out as she is a big fan of both Lego and Unicorns. It was very easy to put together and didnt take long at all. She loves that she can create and be apart of making music videos. The app is also pretty easy to use. I will definitely be buy the rest of the range.

Amazing DJ Unicorn
My daughter loved this. Cute packaging. Easy to assemble. Loads of possibilities. Great fun to play with. Kept my daughter entertained for hours. Love that you can make videos. It’s like a fun music video. Highly recommend this product and can’t wait to buy more different figures in the future.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have always been sceptical of these small kits as I am used to large Lego sets with a lot of 'building' rather than these digital app-based kits as I felt the fun when I was younger was in the build and there wouldn't be much play to enjoy here. I must admit I have been proven wrong with this. While there isn't much of a traditional 'build' with this kit, the app gives hours of fun for creating music videos with the character, and allows for a lot of customisation with the different panels etc to keep coming back and creating more. This kit really allows kids to be creative and gives them videos they can share with friends etc. I would definitely recommend this kit for kids who are creative and enjoy digital music/video, even if us oldies prefer more of a 'building' kit.

Unicorn DJ
My girls enjoyed putting all the Lego pieces together then making music videos afterwards using the different music tabs. This gave my girls something to keep them occupied together and allowed them to have fun together. It was a bit difficult at first to start the Music videos, but once I got the hang of it, it was really easy and gave us something fun to play with. You can arrange the Lego in different ways, and different tabs makes it different each time.
