Awesome stormtrooper helmet
Bought this helmet in October 2020. so a bit late with the review.so onto the helmet comes in 3 pieces front back top fits together with no problems at all fit is pretty good quite comfortable and I have a big noggin voice changer is not very good at all but never bought the helmet for that. bought it coz wanted one since I first saw star wars in 1977 when I was 12 so it as took me 43 years to own one and now I have one so well happy buy this stormtrooper helmet you won't be disappointed 😀

The helmet you are looking for
I have been looking at increasing my helmet collection for some time so when this went on sale close to Christmas I had no issue with parting with some republic credits. The helmet looks fantastic (sweaty puritans and cosplayers may disagree) but for a collection piece that is for display on a shelf or for easy wearing, you can't go wrong. The only negative I have is that the voice changer is pretty useless, I didn't buy mine for the function but they could have made one that actually sounds half decent. That being said, it's unintrusive, the button is well hidden and I am not going to drop a star from the review as for me personally, I didn't buy it to wear to conventions, it is solely a collector piece for my archives.

Childhood Dreams Come True
I know that members of the 501st (the fan organisation dedicated to Star Wars cosplay) will have a lot of complaints about this lid, but I adore it! To get the purist gripes out of the way, the rear of the helmet has a battery hatch and speaker grill which are obviously not present on the actual costume,it is styled after the Rogue One prop so the blue lozenges that run along the 'jaw' are recessed and, most importantly, the helmet is symmetrical (which Original Trilogy Stormtrooper helmets definitely weren't!). It also has flat lenses, which some people hate and the brow ridge sits above the top of the lenses giving the slightly surprised look of the Episode IV stunt helmets rather than the meaner looking low brow found on the 'hero' helmets. Also, the internal harness, into which your head fits, is only anchored at three points so you need to add a little padding to the inside if you don't want a wobbly noggin. These tiny gripes pale into insignificance next to the sheer awesomeness of owning a full sized Stormtrooper lid. It is easy to assemble. The voice activation button is very well hidden, in the ear cover, and although the microphone and speaker are cheap and noisy that is exactly how you want them to sound for that authentic Stormtrooper speech. The decoration is impeccable, the ABS plastic the piece is cast in perfectly replicates the vacuum formed plastic of the on-screen counterpart. A wonderful addition to any collection, will look great on shelf, as part of a cosplay and for all your princess rescuing needs.

Stormtrooper helmet
I had this the first time it was released and it was made with scratches on the helmet which I didn't like. This reissue version is perfect no issues so as a display piece for a budget price it's nice . They still havent fixed the voice changer part but I wanted it as a display piece for a fraction of the price of brands such as EFX etc

This is absolutely brilliant and I am ex static with this purchase! Helmet is great quality and for the price I paid I can't complain! Only down side for me personally was delivery, box turned up heavily damaged..
