Spellbound 2 is the sequel to the highly popular spelling game Spellbound. Featuring all new and improved single player modes, innovative new mini-games and a great new look and feel. Spellbound 2 tests your spelling skills with thousands of words to master in five languages. It also features numerous rewards and collectibles to further the gaming experience. Once you have honed your spelling skills challenge your friends with a range of exciting new multiplayer games! Progress through 100 levels in Championship mode from the lowly Spelling Bee through to the World Championships! Four game modes are available: championship, training, mini games and 'list of shame'. You can compete in a game show environment with eight avatars to choose from. There's also a great selection of multiplayer games via Game Share

I read reviews that said Spellbound 2 was good for all ages but it starts off so easy that I thought I'd made a mistake getting it. It took a while but now the games are quite difficult - not the actual spelling but the time limits. I am quite enjoying the challenge but don't know that I'd recommend it to other children or bad spellers wanting to improve!
