These boxes started off great with some interesting T's and some good books and graphic novels that were right up my street. The last 4 boxes have all contained Star Trek graphic novels and whilst I am personally a Star Trek fan, I expected more variety. Also, whilst the initial Star Trek boxes contained two novels, the last two boxes have both contained one novel and a stupid novelty item more aimed at young kids. The options when ordering a Threads box is Men's or Women's, so why are we getting toys aimed at under 10's!! I won't be renewing my subscription.

This is a great subscription and the value for money is superb. However we are half way through December and I am still missing my box from November and have had two payments come out of my account. I havnt had much communication to keep me updated on what is going on or if I am to be compensated. This is a great product but don’t hold your breath if you are waiting for delivery.

I decided to take up the threads subscription as my book and t-shirt buying habits were getting out of control!! So, I thought, for £10 per month I could get one of each and limit my spending ;) The books have been fairly good, abit of a mixed bag, but nice to read something I wouldn't necessarily choose myself - and broaden my horizons. The t-shirts however have been very samey ... all black, with similar looking designs on each (until you get up close, but i don't want people admiring them that close to me...) because of this i decided to stop my subscription until there are signs of different colour t-shirts coming out, as i now have a large collection of black ones! Good for a few months, but not in the long term. Saying that, it's only a tenner - so worth a punt!

Been subscribing for about 4 months now and have been very impressed with the quality of the T-Shirts and the graphic novels being supplied. However very disappointed with Decembers box as whilst the T-Shirt is great, the graphic novel is a 32 page comic and about a third of them are filler. Come on Zavvi do better, especially at Christmas time.

Few months ago I cancelled my Zbox subscription and purchased Threads. This was great decision... Threads offers great value and both deliveries, I recieved so far, were awesome. I loved both Tees and comic books. For price as low as 7.99 it's no brainer. Keep it up, Zavvi! :)

Didn't know what to expect from Threads after not being too impressed with the Zbox T-shirts (apart from the excellent Undead Zbox T-shirt). Needless to say I was blown away with Issue #1s first T-shirt! If they keep to this quality and hopefully sticking to Black T-shirts as the images really POP, I will be one happy Subscriber! I loved the Deadpool comic and the Novel is right up my street! Excellent job Zavvi! Keep up the Quality & eagerly awaiting Issue #2!

Today (23rd March) I received my first order of 'THREADS' and I was pleansetly surprised on the quality of the contents of the box, as it was much better for me then the ZBOX itself was, as I received a copy of 'READY PLAYER ONE' (I've already read the book, but i'm sure i can get someone else to read this great book), then with this I got a nicely designed black t shirt, that was a lot more my style then March's ZBOX shirt was. In addition to this I also got a Doctor Who collectors construction figure of the 'Weeping Angel', I'm not a fan of Doctor Who, but it is still cool. Then lastly a copy of "True Believers Deadpool #1" which is the first comic book issue Deadpool appeared in, which as a fan is really cool to own. Overall I would recommend THREADS, especially if you are a book/comic book nerd much like myself.

Threads is the only monthly box that I still subscribe to. For £7.99 a month you get a high quality t shirt and a book or graphic novel. Bargain. Much like Batman needs his batcave, I need threads. My other half is always moaning i don't buy enough clothes for myself and I buy too many books (that you'll probably never read) so this is the perfect answer to that. Take that! The books may be a bit hit and miss, saying that, I've had it about 5 month now and only received one book that doesn't appeal to me. All the shirts are great though and haven't had a bad one yet. It's a great way to find new authors / series to read. If you're thinking about it and aren't sure if you want to sign up, go for it. £7.99 a month if you sign up for a year, that's the same price as a McDonald's, well it is when I go, hence why I need XXL shirts. But it's seriously worth the worth the price. A t shirt is about £10 and the books vary from £8 - £15. It's a fantastic box at a great price and always arrives in one piece.

The most consistent, value for money box around. Without giving too much away, the May t-shirt is superb, the book is a classic reprint and they even chucked in some freebie with a Star Wars theme. This is for £8 as I subbed for a year. Brilliant stuff
