My all time fave Bond film, and this limited edition 4K HD stealbook version is a massive must for all James Bond fans. And the perfect starter gift for those 007 virgins, who love a great action thriller.

First, and by far the best of Daniel Craig's outings as JB, before the producers lost the plot and underpowered/over-feminised the character. it's a classy, international affair with Mads Mikkelsen as dead-eyed villain Le Chiffre, Jeffrey Wright as a laconic Felix Leiter, Judi Dench as a particularly acidic and witty M, and the lovely Eva Green as a spirited female lead. The dialogue is sharp, action brisk and the settings sumptuous, and with a cracking theme song too. It's a fine re-boot after the dreadful Brosnan years, with the only criticism being that's probably half an hour too long.

To be honest, the ‘standard’ — if anything by Zavvi might be called “standard” — steelbook is, to my eyes, even nicer looking than the Titans of Cult edition. I don’t regret paying the premium but find the case design just a tad uninspired.
