My favourite ever batman film. Great to see I uhd and artwork is cool.
The 4k restoration of this film is really good. Lots of, erstwhile fuzzy detail, being revealed in full glory. DeVito’s prosthetics hold up gloriously under the scrutiny of 4k! (Although, sadly, the higher resolution doesn’t help to shed any light on the long-standing mystery of where Batman’s black eye makeup goes when he rips his mask off in the reveal to Catwoman!) The design of the steelbook is alright, referencing the Batmobile blue prints as utilised by The Penguin in the film. Perhaps a little basic, but perfectly acceptable. As it was on offer when I treated myself to it, I am more than happy with what I got for my money!
