Pretty entertaining film. Beautiful looking film. While Nothing will ever hold up to " The Matrix " the 1st film... But it's quite a lot better Than Matrix Reloaded and A LOT Better than the dreadful 3rd film. ( 5/10 ). Not a masterpiece But entertaining, with a great picture and a stunning " Atmos " track.

Imagine paying money for a movie as terrible as this

I enjoyed this and think it deserves credit as a follow on to the original trilogy.  Will look great in UHD and a fantastic price on Zavvi. 

Although this film doesn't match up to the original trilogy (I view all three movies and the supplementary Animatrix as equal in many regards), an 18 year gap is not easy to come back from creatively. Despite this, I found this movie to be the most emotionally resonant of all the Matrix films thus far, and it is the Matrix film I most remember hours and days following watching it. However, the direction is erratic, and there are a number of modern day memes and social phrasing that is used, but this is clearly done as a means of critiquing the superficiality and disposability of our current techno-obsessed, social media driven, fake news, modern day corporatocracy. When seen in this light, such inclusions make perfect sense. Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss are remarkable, as always, however, I think Neil Patrick Harris was miscast. I would have preferred that the Architect returned or another actor was cast, but hey, it's not my movie! The action is emphatic and diverse, and the story is poignant and successfully propels the narrative forward, albeit not quite in the way many people would have wished for. I, for one, am very much looking forward to the now green-lit Matrix 5!

A brilliant film and watch. A must have for any Sci-fi fans or fans of the franchise. Watching the film in 4k Ultra HD really brings it to life.

I don't know why this film got so much hatred on release. I thoroughly enjoyed it and think it's better than either of the other sequels. Looks stunning in 4k too.

The first matrix is a 10/10 film and one of the greatest films ever made. This is 0/10 The story was ridiculously over complicated and just seemed like a money grab nostalgia fest that was not needed.

More Matrix goodness to lap up. Returning to the world of wonder back in the Matrix was a nostalgic treat. Not quite revisiting the heights of the original trilogy but still a visual 4K treat with new effects and a great soundtrack to boot.
