The 4K quality is brilliant. Shadow detail is near perfect with no grain, flesh tones look more natural, and contrast is brighter. For the audio, small effects in the background are louder but the dialogue is still clear. The They come packaged in individual black cases with a cardboard case to keep them in.
Always been a fan of the "Mummy Trilogy" as they are great examples of pure escapism, and they have never looked better, sharper and more dynamic than in the latest 4K format. A great box set that is a must for any fan of action/adventure movies.
These films (particularly the first 2) are tremendous fun and made all the more so by their music. Jerry Goldsmith and Alan Silvestri delivered incredibly exciting scores which sound brilliant uncompressed on these discs if you’ve got a good home cinema set up. Randy Edelman did a good score for the third film, it just doesn’t pack the same punch! Much like the film. This collection is a perfect showcase for the 4K UHD disc format. Play them loud and adjust your TV picture settings to “Vivid”! The clarity of colour/blacks is 👍
Really nice set transfer to 4K is really good great value for money
Only watched the first one and i have to say that the quality of picture is excellent and to say the movie is 20 years old, it makes watching it again a must. I would def recommend buying the 4k version. I also received the trilogy way ahead of delivery date, so a big thank you to zavvi.
These films are great fun (ok maybe third one is less so) and with 4k they never looked better.
