In the spring of 1980, the Mariel boatlift brought thousands of Cuban refugees to the sun-washed avenues of Miami in search of the American dream. From acclaimed director Brian DePalma, Scarface is the rags-to-riches story of Tony Montana (Al Pacino), who finds wealth, power and passion beyond his wildest dreams... at a price he never imagined. Tony Montana's meteoric rise, lavish life and soul-destroying fall anchor an epic film that inspired a worldwide following. Pacino is at his most memorable as Montana, blasting his way to the top of Miami's drug underworld in a bravura performance.

Say Hello To My Little Friend

Classic film with a world class actor. I can't remember ever seeing a bad Al Pacino film, but this still has to be the best role of his career. Doubt I will enjoy it more on Blu-Ray than I did on DVD, but it was worth the small price I paid for it. Maybe in this version he takes the time to look behind him when saying his famous line, for his sake. A must buy.

If you don't already know about this movie then there ain't much to say. I have this on DVD but bought on Blu-Ray because it was a bargain price. Was it worth it? Yes. No extras but still a good movie.

Scarface on Blu-ray looks pretty good too. Bought it for a very cheap price for a friend. He loves it and I'm sure anyone else would too.

Scarface

Gruesome at times, very good performances from the actors especially Al Pacino. Tells the story of how a pennyless refugee turns in to a big time Mafia boss by killing the opposition and reaching the top, and then self destruct. This is a classic film to match or beat the best of gangster films.
