After years of lying to women in order to keep them at bay, plastic surgeon Danny (Adam Sandler), finally wants to commit and be in an honest relationship. After having his heart broken on his wedding day, Danny found a way to get any woman he wants with no strings attached; all he had to do was leave his wedding ring on. But now Danny has met Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), the girl of his dreams, he wants to settle down and leave the past behind him.

The morning after their first date Danny's wedding ring falls out of his pocket and he is soon dragged right back to square one and tells Palmer that he is in the middle of a divorce. However, Palmer wishes to meet his "wife".

Now Danny must find a woman to pretend to be his wife for a week away in Hawaii, who better than his long time friend and receptionist Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), but things soon get complicated when Katherine's kids become involved and are mistaken to be Danny's children. (Matt Fairfield)
