Who is humanity's true enemy?
Binary Domain is an original squad-based shooter by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the creator behind some of SEGA's most well-known video game franchises, including the critically acclaimed Yakuza series. Binary Domain puts players in the middle of a fast paced and intense battle for humanity in a robot-invaded 2080 Tokyo. Fighting through the derelict lower levels of the city, players control an international peace-keeping squad that soon starts to question their surroundings and the choices they make. Are the robots becoming more human, or are humans becoming more like machines?
Binary Domain's central theme of life is key to the way the innovative AI system is being developed. The highly advanced AI will make the battlefield a more compelling experience than ever before and players will have to plan their moves strategically and carefully in order to progress through the hostile environments of the game.
- Binary Domain takes you to Japan in the year 2080, where you'll need to regain control as a robotic threat threatens to take over, leaving humanity obsolete in this intense 3rd person squad based shooter from the brilliant mind of Toshiri Nagoshi
- As Dan Marshall, you and your squad must rise to the challenge and stop the mechanical menace before it's too late. But when is too late?
- You'll encounter highly intelligent enemies that will have you thinking on your feet as they try to outmanoeuvre you at every turn as they try to stop you and your team. You'll need to think fast and shoot faster as you guide your earn through real-time moral decisions and earn their trust in order to lead them more effectively.
- Tokyo times: You'll see two very different Tokyos, the run down and decaying slums below and the clean and wealthy new city above
- Consequence System: unique to Binary Domain, this new system combines gameplay elements and AI to create different in-game experiences based on your actions, your choices and your words. The fundamental element of The Consequence System is trust.

One of the most underated games ever, in fact it isn't well known but it's totally worth it, considering the price. If you like third person shooters you must buy this game.
Binary Domain: Limited Edition is a great game! It starts a little slow but after it turns really nice. You will love it!
Binary Domain: Limited Edition is one of the best third person shooters on the PS3, it's much more fun than Vanquish. This has an awesome plot with a lot of twists and turns, NPCs with great AI and trust system, which plays a big role on hard difficulty (when you give an order, NPC can disobey it). Enemies have different damage zones (like, shoot their hands, they will use their head, shoot legs, they will crawl, etc) and it adds new layer to action. There are two upgrade systems - one for characters, called "Nanomachines" with different pluses (like the ability to reload weapons faster or have more health) and weapons, increasing their range, damage, clip capacity and so on. Bosses are big and scary, sometimes you have to spend quite some time to take them down. Regular enemies are repetitive though, but hey, they are robots. The game also includes online modes with different death matches, CTF and a kind of "Horde" from Gears Of War called "Invasion". By the way, this version includes both DLCs (one for singleplayer, one for multiplayer). And you get all of that for this price, it's a no-brainer for me.
One of the games, in my opinion, the most beautiful but also most misunderstood last year, great game play, great graphics and excellent script.
