Running almost quiet and yet cool - I guess this is a later model that doesn't get so hot. I can only hear the slightest noise when the blu-ray drive is accessing, there is no heat. Perhaps it is because I have only played 3D films and played Pinball Arcade? I am more than happy with this purchase because of the price, delivery time and the console itself, It even can be media controller through my hub tacking into the home cinema PC as a server. not had a problem with the 12GB memory being too small because it doesn't apply if you don't need to instal much stuff and I don't. (Got the discs and only use for game saves,I have one game installed on the solid state memory, there is room for another or two, depending). Good 3D blu-ray performance.
looks good, seems good and is good. however due to some technical issues i have requested some help as it keeps skipping so maybe i have a n unfair response.
More than a gaming console the multi media functions are excellent. Video, Music, Blue Ray, DNLA, and catchup TV Apps make it an excellent piece of kit.

Excellent service, delivered quickly price was excellent and have since upgraded the 12Gb to a 500Gb HDD, cheaper way of doing it and so simple, kids are annoyed as hell as I have a better PS3 than them
