Bought 2 sets of these and was duplicated, not random. That was fair enough but all of them were very minor characters, basically no representations of any of the cast, just trees, horse head, spiders etc. Very disappointed. The pictures in the advert are extremely misleading.
Bought two of these expecting a few surprises and maybe a few duplicates. Actually I just got the same mix twice so that was disappointing. The figures themselves still make an excellent collection for lotr fans.
They advertise 3 different sets yet they supply 3 identical sets, logic and common sense would suggest that most if not all would want 3 different sets !! This was my first order with ZAVVI, can't say I'm impressed .. I run my own company and my primary goal is to keep my clients happy and re-ordering !!
Extremely disappointing. Bought multiple boxes in the hope of getting at least halfway with the completed sets. Every single box was duplicated. They each had exactly the same figures in- none of them are recognisable characters either, just the dregs of whatever Zavvi couldn’t sell separate.
Ordered 2 sets expecting them to be diffrent but both boxes are filled with the exact same figures so second box was a waste of money
My 3rd and final box. Sadly these are not random boxes,they contain duplicates of near enough every character.. Unfortunately as nice as they are,this will be my last order..
I ordered 2 sets of these and whilst there were no duplicates within the 10 figures I got two identical sets. Unlucky? Maybe.
Ordered 2 sets got sent 2 identical sets when it states no duplicates so 50% happy
The quality is good but the pieces you get don't seem to be random. I've got 2 orders with the exact same Chess Pieces. I wouldn't of minded if a few were the same, so I won't be buying again.
