This is really an underrated gem amongst the 3rd person shooters. What appears to be a Gears clone at the first glimpse evolves into a wonderful Sci-Fi action game with interesting, likeable characters and a thought provoking storyline. This is a must buy for every gamer who likes a good story. Graphics and sound are great as well. Buy it!

Bought as a gift, but my son would appear to enjoy playing it.

It starts off like a typical "bro" shooter. But once the cast is fully assembled the game really kicks into gear. All the characters are unique and have their part to play in the story. Though the plot borrows heavily from the likes of Blade Runner a few twists along the way keep it from being too predictable. The shooting itself is familiar if you have played the likes of Vanquish and Gears of War. Which is to say it is enjoyable but sets itself apart by adding strategic damage to body parts and also a weapon upgrade system that adds even more satisfaction in later stages. I was very impressed by the lack of loading screens. Game play moves seamlessly into cut scenes and back again. Unless you see a game over screen but these small load times are compensated by a good checkpoint system. You're never left to repeat huge chunks the levels. Highly recommended.

If you like the Gears of Wars games you should definitely give the game a go. It's a very well made game and at a great prcie you really can't go wrong. It has an interesting story and great squad mechanics that will keep you entertained. It has it's own style of play and great voice acting with some great bosses you face along the way. While it's multi player won't be as strong as the Gears multi player, I think it makes up for it in the single player experience. All I can say it give it a go and you might be surprised.

This is a brilliant game, I first came across it at a game expo last year and with all the games there that day Binary Domain got my attention! Really good story with lots of action!

just bought Binary Domain... its easily played, graphics are great and overall an excellent game. 5 stars!

Right well first off the voice recognition isn't great quite a few times its heard the wrong thing to comedy effect (Like telling you team mate BIG BO that you love him) but once you get past that underneath is a very enjoyable game with believable characters and a plot line I'm only on chapter 4 so far but I really hope that SEGA make a sequel but by far the best thing is the visual combat and the pure thrill of shooting a robots legs out and watching them crawl toward you. I highly recommend this game for people who want a shooter with a little difference.

Binary Domain is a great game! It has Gears of Wars style gameplay, and is very funny and really japanese! I enojyed it! It shows Tokyo in the future, and it's really awesome!
