It's an interesting take on third person shooters, with team chatter adding a lot of personality to each character. The game itself is quite entertaining, and while it might not be as polished as Gears Of War 3, I think it has quite a bit more soul. In fact, I didn't care about finishing Gears Of War 3 and I'm looking forward to complete this fine game.

This is actually an excellent game, more like terminator than anything else. A lot of run and gun and shooting robots who fall apart infront of you. If not destroyed properly the robots can be seen crawling across the floor towards you. Very enjoyable and much better than the usual rubbish that Sega have been churning out. Highly recommended !

Binary Domain has a really amazing story, about the progress of technology and the ethic problems concerning it. The gameplay is similar to GOW, with a good coverage system and a lot of mass destruction weapons. The developers put extreme care into characters' personalities and you have to take the right lines of dialogue to get the best ending possible. Multiplayer is real fun: with VS modes such as Deathmatch or Domain control if you want to play against other players, or Invasion mode (similar to Gears of War's Horde) in which you have to cooperate with your companions to get rid of an army of killer cyborgs. For me, one of the best game I've played in this generation.

I've thoroughly enjoyed playing Binary Domain, a futuristic Japanese shooter with I-Robot style enemies, hi-tech boss battles, Interesting characters and good voice characterisations that keep you involved in the story and warrant repeat play through. You have to work with your team mates and respond to their comments either through voice recognition or prompt and, through you game play actions, gain their trust so they work with you to defect the enemies. It adopts a Gears style cover and shoot system for the most part even down to a Horde style coop mode called Invasion where you fight off increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Only disappointment is slightly generic multi player mode let down by the need to have 6 players to start a match and what appears to be a lack of people playing the game which is a shame. Certainly worth getting if you can pick it up.

Let me start off by saying I wasn't expecting too much from this game. The story is a mix of Special Ops and I-Robot with a good measure of the Terminator thrown in. The robots are the enemy and they exist to be ripped to shreds by your bullets. The campaign is long and engaging. A Rare Gem!

I bought this game having not played the demo. I watched some of the trailers and gameplay videos and thought that it just looked really good. I wasn't disappointed. Without a doubt, for me, it's a great game. Being a fan of giant Japanese robots, Gears of War etc, it seemed right up my street. The graphics are great, the story is great, the voice recognition system is an added bonus and works well most of the time. I play games for a decent cinematic experience that I can immerse myself into and never really go looking for multiplayer in games. This game has multiplayer but I'm just not really that bothered. It has some great set pieces that really add to the pace and it's loads of fun to blow robots apart by targeting specific body parts and seeing what happens. I'm not going to say anything bad about it because it's a quality game. It got hardly any publicity in the UK but it really appealed to me and if it looks like your thing, just buy it because it's totally worth it in my opinion.

On the outside it looks like an average 3rd person shooter with cheesy characters and dialogue. For the most part it is, however, the shooting is rock solid with satisfying enemies to discombobulate. Much better than the sum of its parts and certainly worth a go for the price.

I played Binary Domain at Eurogamer last year and was surprised how good this game actually was. I wasn't expecting much from it, but it's a solid all round good third person shooter. In the end it was one of my favourite games at the show and that is saying something from what games were on show that day.
