Final Fantasy XIII-2 is better than Final Fantasy XIII, but the Final Fantasy series has dried up in my opinion.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a very good game! The Final Fantasy Series have made history!
Final Fantasy XIII-2, we continue the story from Final Fantasy XIII without the annoying Barthandelus. It is a really good game, there's a lot to do: collecting monsters, getting all chocobos, getting all fragments... and I'm sure that the DLC's are going to have a price drop or something... Will you unravel the mystery beyond the paradoxes? Of course I will.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a great game. A must-have for any Final Fantasy or RPG fan. Incredible visuals, good gameplay, and fun dialogues.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a very nice game. As always, if you enjoyed Final Fantasy XIII, I'm sure you will love to play this one as well.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is probably the best RPG game of the century. It´s much better than the previous game. In one word - Extraordinary!
Not the best Final Fantasy but Final Fantasy XIII-2 is still worthwhile playing especially with the price drop... Recommend to anyone that loves Final Fantasy 13 and JRPG of course!
The game follows the quality provided be the previous game (Final Fantasy XIII). Those that enjoyed the previous game, should also like this one, which follows the previous story line. This game does not provide significant improvements compared to the previous one, apart from an improved integration of the cutscenes into the game action.
The combat system in Final Fantasy XIII-2 should be familiar to those who played its predecessor, with a slight tweak here and there that will probably go unnoticed to most people. Also, while you only have two playable characters this time (while the prequel had six), you can have a third party member in form of a tamed monster. There are roughly 150 monsters in the game, including bosses and alternate forms for some, and more than half of them are tameable, which leaves plenty of room for choice to get that "killer" team. And with the ability to infuse abilities from some monsters onto others, the possibilities are nearly endless! Old fans of the series might be disappointed to learn that there's no "giant eidolon summons" in this title, but this is perfectly justified in the story, and one of the previous game's eidolons is tameable as a party member (you'll just have to figure out which one on your own). However, the most important aspect is the story. For those who complained (unjustly) that its predecessor was "too linear", you'll be happy to know that Final Fantasy XIII-2 offers several areas that you can explore at your leisure, several side-quests, and even mini-games (chocobo racing is back!) to keep you busy. And since you can continue after finishing the story, and because some areas and quests only become available post-game, there's no pressure to get everything done before the final boss. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a game to be enjoyed at your own pace.
Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy. Maybe there was little changes from Final Fantasy XIII, but Final Fantasy XIII-2 is still a great game from a fantastic series.
