15 hours in and Final Fantasy XIII-2 is already a huge improvement over Final Fantasy XIII. There are no more constraints as to who you can select in your party, and instead, you can capture and raise a large selection of monsters to fight besides you. The linear approach to the last game has been scrapped in favor of the ability to warp to different time dimensions right after the game's opening, offering much more freedom in where you go and what you want to. As before, the environments are beautiful and varied. If you liked Final Fantasy XIII, you will surely love this.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a really good game from SquareEnix, with this title you have it partially done in the right direction and very much improved on the previous Final Fantasy XIII! See graphics, gameplay elements and a super-successful story, as well as the character design is convincing in high dimensions. Strong buy recommendation from my side. I wish you all a lot of pleasure and fun with this wonderful title.

The sequel is an amazing game, you meet Lightening and Vanilla again for new adventure. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a must have!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is an improvement from the previous title. Add to that, the great price zavvi offers, and it is such a great product overall. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

As an avid Final Fantasy XIII fan, I enjoyed this game right through to the end. The end game content is where this game shines as you have a great menu-map system and lots of missions where you must travel backwards and forth through time to complete your objective. The combat is much the same with the exception you now have a monster pet as a third party member (but they are restricted to 1 role) so you must capture & train multiple pets to succeed. The characters are pleasant and the story is quite interesting... even to the end of the main story where a huge drop is released (I won't spoil it). It is quite safe to say Final Fantasy XIII-3 will continue this ever-popular new age RPG that is fun and easy to play for all ages.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a rather good game, but story-wise it's not so good. I would recommend this game only if you are in need of an RPG game fast. If not, wait for Tales of Graces F to become available.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 looks as good as it did the thirteenth instalment in due course. Continuing mantenie history and much of the main characters from the previous game, completely revolutionizes the game system, correct the defects of the previous game and innovates its way into the Final Fantasy series and the peculiar genre of Japanese RPGs. Special mention that the game has so much extra content beyond the main story interesting: secrets to find, characters to interact, such things are valued only when they miss. A great game that will please fans of the saga.

No need to lie, fights are not very challenging. Like Final Fantasy-XIII, we can imagine some way to make this game even better. But well, personally, I enjoyed all hours spent on this game. Always a pleasure to discover or re-discover lands of Cocoon and Pulse. Nice to meet new characters as Noel, Alyssa, Time clock Mog... or old buddys like un-crystallized Serah, adult Hope, Snow without his ridiculous cap. Because of that last point, I don't think that it's worth to play without having played previous game.

It's a good game and the price is the best. I hope it be better than Final Fantasy XII.
