The Twilight Zone Season One was the pioneer of extra dimensions of entertainment. Nostalgia for those of a certain age, a masterclass in the development of the Suspense and Science Fiction Genres for all others. The plots have been borrowed a hundred times, at least, since their dawning on the small screen, but this was the pioneer stock. Plot development is tight and satisfying, and has the benefits of the acting skills of many fine actors some already well-established on the Big Screen and many others who later transited to the Big Screen. It was a work crafted thru the patience and enthusiasm of all involved in Season One, and it shows. It should be reflected upon that The Twilight Zone was essentially the work of a small team led by Rod Sterling. So quality seems to deteriorate after Season Three. Rod Sterling later said "I was writing so much, I felt I had begun to lose my perspective on what was good and what was bad." So enjoy a small show with a well-deserved big reputation at its zenith.
