Mafia 2 is amazing! A definite must have for all gamers' collections!

Mafia 2: Directors Cut is a fantastic action game with one big con, it's too short. Artistically it's better than GTA IV due to it not being a pure sandbox. It is a masterpiece and a truly enjoyable gaming experience. All of the DLC is included here and they extend the play time for hours and even open the possibility of free roaming.

The game took over 2 weeks to arrive but was worth the wait. Great game and cheapest price around.

the best and easiest way i would describe it would be to say, think grand theft auto-ish but set in the early 1900's united states. great classic cars and superb storyline keeps you engrossed for day after day of gameplay. mafia 2 the directors cut includes downloadable content on the disc and with it going platinum it is a cheap ps3 title. and what a great game... so if this genre is your thing you should get it without hesitation.

Mafia 2 is one of the best games I've ever played! In fact, I've finished it 3 times so far and still keep coming back for more! The price is low at Zavvi now and in my opinion it's an opportunity to everyone who considers himself as a good player to purchase this game. Lots of shooting, fighting, and the driving scenes are awesone! Story line is unbelievable and the quality is stunning! You'll see how you end up feeling like one of the Mafia family...

I purchased this following a friends recommendation, however he did not have all the extra's the directors cut comes with. The main storyline in itself was a delight to play, however with the added extra's supplied, it made this one of my favourite games of late.

Mafia 2 has snappy dialogue, believable characters, and Hollywood inspired shootouts, and really makes you feel like a mobster. It's a grown up game, so don't expect the crude antics of GTA or Saints Row - these elements have their place, of course, just not here. Mafia 2 is all about atmosphere and tension, and it delivers both by the bucketload. You'll spend quite a lot of time cruising around the city in some gorgeous vintage cars, but I think some people's criticism that this is a "slow" game is unfair - in fact, because the action-packed sequences are slightly more few and far between than in GTA, the whole experience feels that much more real, and every encounter feels like it could be your last. You'll form an attachment to the other characters around you, you'll be simultaneously craving and dreading the next encounter with rival gang members, and you'll be swept up in the impeccably recreated setting of 1940s and 50s New York. Don't miss out on one of the best games of the year!

Mafia 2: Directors Cut (Platinum) has a great plot, nice characters, beautiful world and the music and sounds are so well combined, that you literally get sucked in the 50's. The Additional content gives you 3 more stories, which are pretty decent. It is perfect for every fan of Coppola's trilogy "The Godfather". Definitely a must have for every PS3 owner. Don't wait, just buy it!

Great game. Interesting and movie-like plot. A real bargain. Would recommend to everyone!
