An excellent turn based strategy game. Start with 1 unit and build an empire. Great for the newcomer and the expert. In depth technology and research trees. Prepare for some late nights while you try and conquer the world!
After the slightly disappointing Civilisation IV and the forgettable console version, I'm glad to say that this sequel has reignited my passion for this series all over again. You can easily waste hours of your life playing this game. And when you consider the scope of the game and the amount of fun you will have, is there really anything else you'd rather do with your time? Buy it.
I really enjoyed the game Civilisation V. It's quick to learn but hard to master. There are many improvements made from the previous Civilisation, including the graphics, which are very good. I love playing it. Highly recommended.
Super game played all the civs but this one is brilliant, much better!
This version is in my opinion is the best by far. Great graphics and game play, with a much improved interface make playing the game much easier than previous versions. Great price and service from Zavvi.
The game sucks you in for a long time and although its quite a repetitive formula it's still entertaining. The different victory conditions allow you to play in whichever way suits you best which is great for those who want a change to the typical win by brute strength means. They can instead head down the technology route for example concentrating on research rather than units. Of course it's still hugely satisfying to destroy all other civilisations one by one! Over all I'd say Civ 5 was a good game and offers enough diversity to keep coming back to it.
I think the game Civilisation 5 is brilliant! It runs smoothly on my fairly low spec laptop, and the game itself is very challenging. It is very time consuming and keeps you very interested and focused on accomplishing the tasks. All in all, it's a skillful and brilliant game, and I can't stop playing!
