Get it. Or get Skyrim. But this if you've got Skyrim. Oh and fallout 3. Even fallout new Vegas. Basically buy anything by Bethesda and then buy this. It's good; but it's not fallout.

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning is a very good game with easy controll layout. It offers hour of enerterainment. Featuring character/weapon/armour/potion creation systems and a wide range of unique items. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes fantasy style RPGs.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

This Game is Outstanding ... It is huge, easy to control, has plenty of things to do, and does not end when you finish the main storyline. There are 4 classes to choose from each with it's own special traits. Progression is defined by levelling up and a destinies system. Levelling up allows to choose new abilities that allow for new moves, skills & spells. It also increases your three "stats" areas which in turn allow you to use new weapons and armour. The accompanying Destinies system, allows you to access bonus enhancements to your character, depending on choices you make during the game. This helps as you are not limited to being a rogue, warrior or mage, but instead it supports the player's choices. Whilst questing your way through the game - and you have the main quest, side quests, faction quests & on-going ones - you can further support your character through crafting new weapons, armour, potions and gems. Weapons and armour are created by combining different parts found throughout the world - and they get better as you progress. Gems are made from 3 different levels of shards and produce 4 different kinds of gems which are in turn used when creating weapons and armour. Potions can also be created by harvesting different kind of flora. Whilst this will sometimes be useful, I feel it was an unnecessary add-on, instead the game would have benefited from the option to craft rings and amulets and the option to combine two different weapons or armour, to create a stronger one. The combat is easy and straight forward, but due to the weapon abilities, it becomes fun, tactical and most of the time it looks like really good action. The great graphics support this and so do the sound effects. At times it feels as if there are too few good battles, and enemies are usually few in numbers to pose a real challenge. More enemies, and tougher / bigger ones would have been nice. Combat also has a finishing move element which is most of the times fun to watch. Loading times are quick, but tend to be frequent later in the game due to the increase in travelling. The story line lacks a bit of depth, but is consistent throughout and ties the different side-quests to the main one. Some NPCs are a bit bland and lack real character, but there are so many that it is understandable as to why. None of the characters are really memorable with the exception of Alyn Shir. I have clocked 160 hours + on this game and still have not finished absolutely everything. It is noticeably large. Favourite thing to do is crafting weapons. Annoying thing lots of travelling / small inventory / few stashes. How it could have been better? Soundtrack, whilst they are good, graphics can always be improved. More detailed / expansive crafting system. Better Character customisation. Use of transport like a horse / cart / flying dragon ? Summon system with short animated parts (FFVII style). This game is a must have for all RPG / Dungeon crawler fans. It is great !

Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning is a big game. The start is soft, but when you continue, the story is very long and interesting with secondary missions. Very good.
