Well worth buying again on blu-ray. Brilliant quality and such a great TV show! Already had them on DVD but at the amazing price the box set was I couldn't refuse. Really glad I did.

Technically, the Farscape - The Definitive Collection - Series 1-4 could have been better, but the story is fantastic. Although, technically it could be improved, it is enough to create a stunning photo of space.   I highly recommend this to anyone who likes this type of genre to take a look.

So far I'm deep into Series 1 of Farscape - The Definitive Collection - Series 1-4. I really like how the different characters reveal more and more of their secrets as well as how they interact with each other in a not always so friendly, but mainly humorous way.

Farscape has been widely praised as one of the best cult TV shows ever made - and its starburst onto Blu-ray makes this collection an essential for any sci-fi fan. Loading the first disc is like welcoming back an old friend and, thanks to enhancements that have been made for the HD format, it looks better than ever. The show's visual aspect has been brought bang up to date and it looks stunning. From the opening scenes when wayward astronaut John Crichton (Ben Browder) gets hit by a radiation wave and shot through that wormhole, you'll find yourself immersed all over again in a distant part of the universe that's as weird as it is wonderful. One thing you won't be looking for is a way home. There's no Peacekeeper Wars included, but this box set does contain all 88 episodes of the main series as well as around 20 hours of extras to keep die-hard fans consumed long after devouring seasons 1 - 4.

Great series, amazing story, and at this price how could I not get it?

The Farscape series was never released in Belgium except for the first 8 episodes. Then nothing. I had to wait until now to buy this great series, but I got to buy it on bluray and at a great price. Too bad that the Peacekeeper Wars mini-series isn't included. Hopefully soon...

I'm not going to debate the quality of the Farscape series. For me its great. What I'm about to debate is if it's worth buying this set, especially if you already have the series on DVD (like me). I knew that the source material were the PAL 576p masters, and didn't expect the image quality to be so good. Of course its not so good as a true 1080p TV series like LOST, but still I was pleasantly surprised, plus all the episodes have English subtitles. So, for me it was a clear upgrade for a series I love. If you are new to the series then get the BR set, and if you already have it on DVD, consider buying it, especially if you get it on offer.

A must have for all fans of Farscape who don't have the original DVDs, you may also want to get the peacekeeper Blu-ray as well! excellent 69 hours of viewing on 20 Blu-rays!

This Farscape Definitive Collection is one truly great collection. The only thing that is missing is the final two films that tie the series together. Farscape: Peace Keeper's War Parts 1 and 2, which are both great films.

Farscape is one of the top series out there, cute girls, excellent plot, freaky aliens. What more could a sci-fi fan ask for?
