top notch machine.does everything i want and more.

Really good console. Would recommend to buy if you don't already own one of the old ps3's. Only problem I would say is that occasionally the console can be quite loud while the disc is in it, but this isn't a problem for me and it's not terrible.

The PS3: New Sony Playstation 3 Slim Console is great!

500gb hard drive is just the start. The new disc entry makes the PS3 even simpler than before. Would recommend.

Excellent PS3, I'm so surprised at how slim it actually is! Very compact, it looks fantastic.

The size comparison from the regular to the slim PS3 is staggering and it also uses less electricity then my old PS3, so full marks there. My only criticism would be the HD - it's not as fast as the one that my old PS3 had so it is slightly slower than my old PS3 (but not by much). Well worth buying, but not just because you want to upgrade an existing machine as you'll not get much bang for your buck.
