One of the best horror films i have seen in a long time. Based on a true story. A couple Investigate reports about the paranormal and solve the cases. Though one case was worse than any. This is the story of that case. Its got everything a horror film needs. Scares. Suspense. Everything but gore.

Best Horror Movie and Steelbook

Excellent steelbook. Fill my collection very well. The item also (and always) come in a great package. Looking forward to buying more stuff from Zavvi.

Beautiful edition. Much better than the poor spanish edition and its horrible front. This information will be only useful for spanish customers. The disc is the same than it is available in our country so castillian spanish in audio and subtitile.

From the horror genre enthusiast can tell you that The Conjuring is a movie made really well, technical director of functional in conveying the terror and anguish that dwells throughout the film! A horror like we have not seen for decades, recommended, and then, the exclusive Steelbook Zavvi is the icing that complements the cake, well made, beautiful!

This has to be one of the most beautiful steelbooks I've ever bought! It's been made to a stunning level of quality, with a shimmery matte finish and embossed title and noose detail. Also the grey colour and great cover art really capture the eerie mood of the film perfectly. The blu-ray specs are also equally stunning, with absolutely pristine picture and sound quality - makes the scares all the more potent! All-in-all a fantastic steelbook release from Zavvi! If there's ever been a horror film that deserved a quality steelbook its The Conjuring, and Zavvi definitely delivered!

Wow what a great film this will keep you on the edge of your seat, there are great moments that will really scare you in places. Just keep your eyes open for most of the film or you will miss some great parts that will make you jump out of your seat. This is based on a true story and it does get you thinking if some parts are real. Now based on the steelbook this is a great design the lettering and hanging rope is embossed so that gives it extra detail to the front cover. I've not seen the special features on the disc but hopefully I will be watching it very soon. All in all this a great film that should not be missed.

The Conjuring Steelbook is an essential buy for ghost, possession and supernatural fans. Steelbook: Very nice Steelbook by Zavvi with embossed hangmans rope and title with internal artwork. Movie A very scary film with plenty of make you jump moments. The film is quite slow to start and then builds at a nice pace until all evil mayhem breaks loose. What makes this movie even more terrifying is it is supposedly based on a true story. As excellent as the film is however, I couldn't help thinking it was a number of recent movies of the same theme rolled into one film but that doesn't take anything away from the suspense, terror and enjoyment of the film. Blu Ray Excellent transfer on to Blu Ray with a grain free and sharp picture throughout. Best horror film I have bought for a while.
