The actual case ended up looking more plastic-like than I'd have hoped. Not that I don't realized it's made out of plastic but the paint job and sculpting make it look a little cheaper than that picture would lead you to believe. However, for the price this is still an amazing case, and all in all I love it. Once the plastic cover is remove you've got a stand alone Gipsy Danger. The disks are in a compartment inside the hollow back of the figurine. The first time removing the disc from their compartment was oddly difficult but all subsequent removals occurred with ease. It's very steady when standing alone and looks great on my shelf.
