Story: Its your basic good verses evil story where you liberate your home island from an evil general who has seized total control. Your job is to help the rebels take back their homeland and along the way blow a ton of places up (and I mean a ton). The story is basic enough as were the previous installments so if you have played the series before you are getting pretty much the same kind of depth/design/development from the 3rd installment. Gameplay: After playing for several hours I have finally got to grips with the controls mainly the new wing suit which is an incredible cool way to fly over the games map along with the parachute and new grappling hook. If you are a fan of these games and played them before you will know whats in store. The new grappling systems allows the player to tear the world apart and in a very real looking way. The controls are on the arcade side of gaming but that's always the case with over the top action games of this type. There is also a new upgrades/mods menu where the player can activate and deactivate these enhancements which add great new abilities to your weapons, all vehicles and the player which all need to be unlocked by completing challenges. The game is packed with challenges and hidden objects throughout the massive 400km world which you will probably get lost in from time to time. Graphics: I can clearly see an upgrade in this area over the past installments as everything is more detailed and looks and moves better. You sometimes find large open world games to have a desert kind of look as it can't display dense foliage such as huge amounts of trees, grass, fields of flowers etc for great distances but Just Cause 3 pulls it off well. The only time I seen a change was when I was flying high in the sky or using the wing suit traveling fast over areas. Apart from this the graphics are top notch. Lastly and probably the highlight of the the game are the explosions. I am going to say the best explosions I have seen in a game and I have seen loads. If you buy and play the game or watch a video you will see what I mean. Overall 4/5 Its a fun pick up and play game where not knowing the story won't affect you in anyway as you are playing to cause destruction, drive tons of cool vehicles, use lots of weapons and gadgets and have a fun while doing so.
