After years of trailing behind rival Fifa, Konami has finally caught up, delivering the best PES since 6 on PS2. The graphics are stunning, and playing is accessible and a lot of fun. As usual, the dearth of licensed teams is a typical drawback in the series, but one that can be overcome, as almost all teams one is likely to take are present. The fact that the teams' roster has not been updated to the last market transfers in an attempt to release the game a week before Fifa is, however, unforgivable. The necessary upgrade is scheduled for late October. All too late. That said, all in all the game is a fantastic football simulator, and a killer app for multiplayer games. Highly recommended!

PES 2016 is a good football game and worth buying It has good graphics and an arcade style game play feel. There are various leagues and competitions to play in and there are new options for your teams tactics and formations.

Loved Pes for many years and it is moving forward nicely in the next gen consoles now. It plays an excellent game of fun football with atmosphere and super gameplay compared to the obvious alternatives. As in real life not every goal is the same and the sense of satisfaction when score is immense. Master League, Myclub and Champions League (licensed) modes are superb. Like every Pes the game just gets better the more you play It is in need of a data pack update so this is a little frustrating but this does not take is away from the essential football game buy

At last! A football game on the next gen consoles that lives up to its name. A football that lives up to expectation the same way Fifa 12, 13 and PES 6 did. Easily the best game faces, Best kits and the best gameplay a football game has produced for many years. Hower i would rate this game a 8.5 out of 10 as the MyClub mode will cost a pretty penny if you wanted to build a decent squad were as FUT is abit more easy to get into and the transfer update won't be out untel late October, But once they've sorted these things out the game will become a 9 out of 10 compared to Fifa 16 as a 8.5 out of 10. If you're a football fan then this game is a must buy!

Terrific game, the graphics and gameplay are beautifully realistic and any issues are constantly being worked on by the developers unlike their less fan orientated rivals in the football game genre. Only disappointment is that the Zavvi customer service has been appalling throughout - no communication skills, often simply not responding to customer service queries and when they are responded to, they are incoherent or contradictory
