super excited for the steelbook release, then suddenly i see the real image........... Really this is what we get? im shocked from seeing this i will be cancelling my order and looking else where, where's the imagination where's the high quality? please refocus and look at this and try and work something out.

Like many others I was so, so excited for the release of this steelbook. The initial concept art was fantastic, but this is a huge disappointment. I wouldn't have minded if the concept art was subject to minor tweaks before the final artwork was put into production, as this is understandable, but the revised artwork is a massive step backwards and, by the sounds of things, has left a lot of fans incredibly disappointed. I guess Zavvi's intention was to match the other individual steelbooks, which is understandable for anyone who wanted to collect a set with a running theme. However the individual steelbooks haven't exactly been selling like hot cakes, and personally I'm not a fan of those either. It is all down to personal taste, so arguably some people may like, or even prefer this artwork. Unfortunately it's just not for me so I've cancelled my pre-order. I will have a hunt around for any imports which could be a good equivalent, but I actually quite like the artwork which is for standard blu ray, so I may just stick with that and enjoy the bonus content (another topic which bugs me about Zavvi's steelbooks with lack of additional content - but that is a rant for another time!!)

The light sabre is orange!!! Real disappointment, what could have been something so great and awesome with a glossy finish and a RED light sabre, but no, it's a matte finish with an orange light sabre. There is no title on the side either! (If you're a collector then you'll get where I'm coming from with my last comment)

Zavvi deleted my previous review so I hope this one gets through. I agree with the other comments regarding the lack of text on the spine and cover - it smacks of cheapness. But my main issue is the failure to include the 3D version of the film . As far as I am concerned, if a movie is released theatrically in 3D it needs to be released on 3D blu ray. A 2D only release is simply worthless to me, bonus disc or no bonus disc. As soon as it was clear this would just include the 2D version, it instantly moved from a must-buy to a must-not-buy.

It isn't that much different from the US one they announced a few days ago, but the US one is far superior. The Best Buy version actually says the films title on the cover and the spine. The picture of Kylo Ren also looks a bit darker and blends into the background better. This version looks incomplete. I am not a big fan of the pictures going down the spine, just looks odd. If you want a good version of this steelbook, get one from Best Buy or Import it if you're outside America.

After the beautiful steelbook releases for Episodes 1 to 6 in 2015 I presumed that the style of the steelbook would match the other versions which where exquisite. This steelbook isn't even the same material, its matte. The art work is OK but doesn't match quite the same, it doesn't have the orignal poster art on the back cover like the others, and once you've taken off the wrapping...It doesn't even say Star Wars any where on the box! Not even on the sleeve, instead there is some aweful picture art of the characters. I feel betrayed. Do not buy this steelbook if you expect it to fit into your previous collection, it won't.

Like 60 five star reviews were posted in 3 days last week out of nowhere. Very 'subtle' way of pushing all the actual real 1 star reviews of this terrible steelbook with an orange lightsaber, ugly matt finish and no title to the bottom of the list.

I was really looking forward for this release, but the artwork is plain terrible! Those little pictures on the spine are totally out of place. Im going to order the regular edition in sleeve instead.

Ordered when live with movie poster art which was brilliant and now it's been updated with awful villian art. BRING BACK THE CLASSIC POSTER ART ''!!!!!!!! Or will cancel as the art is sooooooo bad
